“Mohini Sharma & Juhi Vyas Light Up Cannes with a Green Message"

At the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Indian beauty queens Juhi Vyas and Mohini Sharma dazzled on the red carpet to promote environmental awareness. Collaborating with Greenpeace India and Greenpeace South Asia, they aimed to shine a light on critical issues concerning oceans and climate change.


Juhi Vyas, who won the Mrs. Globe Peoples Choice title in 2023, donned a gown symbolizing a burning Earth. This choice was made to highlight the increasing frequency of heat waves, climate inequality, and the urgent need for major polluters to be held accountable. "This dress carries a message," she remarked, "about the heat waves harming our cities, the silent sufferers, and the culprits that must own up to their actions."

On the other hand, Mohini Sharma, the founder of Mrs. India Inc.wore a gown inspired by oceanic colors and melting glaciers to advocate for the High Seas Treaty, which aims to protect marine ecosystems. She emphasized, "When I walk the red carpet, I hope to make people think of the oceans. My gown represents both the hope of preserving what we have left and the urgent call for immediate action."

Hailing from Durg, Chhattisgarh, Juhi Vyas is a prominent beauty queen, entrepreneur, and advocate for environmental issues. Her journey from modest beginnings to widespread recognition highlights her determination and hard work. Initially aspiring to be a software engineer, she later ventured into the beauty industry, becoming a successful beautician and business owner.
