The Crown of 2023 or 2024?

One of the most popular pageants, Miss World 2023 has been numerously delayed with ambiguity in the location and dates of the reputed pageant. The 71st edition of Miss World was slated to be in India directly after 1996, nearly after three decades but the constant change in location like Goa, Jammu Kashmir, Delhi and time of the pageant has aroused a plenty of rumors and created unrest in the pageant fans. India experienced a lot of cultural and socio-economic moments in the year 2023 ranging from 18th G-20 summit, ICC Cricket World Cup, elections, etc. Would this stand as one of the reasons for the postponement of Miss World 2023?

According to recent news, it is estimated that Miss World 2023 final will take place on 9th March 2024. The shift in dates and schedules have provided delegates with ample time to prepare and bring their best performance on the grand stage. Due to the shift in the year, the question of will the title stand as “Miss World 2023” or “Miss World 2024” hangs in the air! The Miss World crown has Toni-Ann Singh as the longest reigning queen of the crown but with such postponements will Karolina Bielawska, the current Miss World 2022 be able to break that record?
